I’m all signed up, now what?
Welcome back! We’re so happy you decided to join the QUAR Family. Your membership includes online access to our complete library of fitness videos…so,let’s get started.
First things first,decide which workout type you want to do. We’ve got three standards:
- Pilates Based Fitness Classes
- Kettle Bell Classes
Periodically, you will see “Special Series” pop into the mix. These classes are taught by outside instructors and will feature classes you wouldn’t normally see on our site, like yoga, dance and more.
Once you have decided on which type of class you want to do, it’s time to pick your class. On the thumbnail, there will be a quick class description and the length of the video. For our Pilates Based Fitness classes, we offer a special “Beginner Basics” series. These classes are designed to go at a slower pace with more descriptive cues for those who are new to the practice. But don’t be fooled, just because they are called “Beginner”,that does not make them any easier. You are still going to get a serious burn!
When you click on the class, before you hit PLAY, you will see a list of equipment you need. Don’t have weights or stepladder, etc? Don’t worry. Water bottles or canned food items make an excellent substitute for weights. Pillows, stuffed animals or a basketball make an awesome substitute for the ring or Magic Circle. And if you need, any workout with the exception of Kettle bells, can be done without weights.
You’ll also find links to a large library of Spotify Playlists in our Extras section. Grab your iPad or another streaming device to link to Spotify and play your favorite playlist while you do the workouts!
Also under our Extras tab, you’ll find links to our favorite products. Look for things like Bala bands, the infamous Magic Circle and more.
Many of our shorter classes are designed to be stacked together or repeated for a longer workout. Send us feedback! You are part of the QUAR Family now, and your feedback is what guides us in our development of the site and future workouts. If something doesn’t work for you, let us know!
